The Brief
Urban Wave is a boutique property development company based in East London, creating high-spec homes with a bespoke, design-led approach. From land acquisition through to completion, they offer a full-service development model that invites collaboration, allowing future homeowners to help shape a space that truly reflects them.
With their first project underway and no existing brand or website, Urban Wave needed a complete digital foundation, starting with a distinctive logo and visual identity. Thrive were asked to create a modern, elegant brochure site that would introduce the business, communicate their values, and attract the right kind of audience. With no photography available, the design had to work hard to build atmosphere and trust through tone, layout and styling alone.
Our Process
We designed a sleek and elegant site that feels refined, modern and purposeful. With abstract imagery and considered use of space, the design sets the tone for a brand that’s professional, creative and detail-oriented.
We began by crafting a bold, structured logo that would carry across both digital and printed applications. This identity informed the rest of the site, from type and layout to the visual hierarchy of the pages. The site guides users through the Urban Wave story: who they are, how they work, where they operate and what makes their developments different.
Although the content was minimal at launch, the framework is built to grow. As new projects are completed, the site can evolve into a showcase of the team’s work, without needing a redesign.

K9 Club
K9 Club, established by Andy more than 9 years ago, benefits from his extensive background as a former police and military dog handler. K9 offer dog training and obedience courses. Faced with a digital landscape where their existing website was outdated and lacked features offered by competitors, K9 Club realised the need for a significant website update to better align with their offerings and capabilities.
Quercus Forest Products
We reenvisaged Quercus’s logo, bringing it up to date, and built a new website from scratch. There’s less clutter, and everything’s more intuitive, in-line with modern standards. We continue to work with Quercus on the provision of content and email marketing, as well as marketing and brand strategy.
GOTA Coffee Experts
GOTA is ‘the speciality coffee shop’ of Vienna. We have been tasked with elevating GOTA’s online presence and make it reflect their beautiful café, as well as replicating the experience customers get when visiting their bricks and mortar shop.
