Taking on the ‘Race the Sun Challenge’ for Action Medical Research

At Thrive, we believe in making a positive impact, not just within our business but also within our community. That's why we're proud to announce that our Managing Director, Emma, is gearing up to take on the ultimate endurance challenge: Race the Sun.

On 29th June 2024, Emma will embark on an incredible journey to support Action Medical Research for Children. This remarkable event involves a gruelling 9-mile hike, followed by a 28-mile off-road bike ride, and finally, a 2-mile kayak. It's a test of physical and mental endurance like no other, all in the name of raising much-needed funds for this vital charity.

Action Medical Research for Children is a leading UK charity dedicated to funding medical research to help save and change the lives of babies and children. They focus on a wide range of conditions, from premature birth to rare diseases, with the aim of finding preventions, treatments, and cures to give every child the chance of a healthier future.

Emma's decision to take on Race the Sun is not just about personal achievement; it's about making a difference in the lives of children and families across the country. By pushing herself to the limit, she hopes to inspire others to support this worthy cause and contribute to the vital work being done by Action Medical Research.

We invite you to join us in supporting Emma on her journey by visiting the Action Medical Research website to learn more about their mission and how you can get involved. You can also donate directly here. Whether it's through donations, fundraising efforts, or simply spreading the word, every contribution makes a difference.

As a company, Thrive is committed to making a positive impact, and Emma's participation in Race the Sun embodies our values of determination, compassion, and community. We stand behind her every step of the way and look forward to cheering her on as she takes on this incredible challenge.

You can follow Emma’s progress on our Instagram and Facebook channels to see how she is getting on!

Together, we can help make a difference in the lives of children in need. Join us in supporting Emma and Action Medical Research as they race towards a brighter, healthier future for all.
